A hot item from Old Town... a canoe that borrows some kayak features. It's got adjustable footpegs so you can really lock in to the boat for great control. Due to it's narrow beam you can paddle it with a double or a single blade paddle. With a flat bottom and minimal rocker the Next is stable and tracks well despite its short length, and it has significant tumblehome which keeps capacity up yet lets you have a more vertical paddle stroke as you sit closer to the water. The seat is supercomfortable and can be taken out and used as a beach chair.
